ScrumEdge is an easy to use scrum project management tool that has been developed by ScrumMasters for scrum project execution.
Most online scrum tools are overly complicated. By focusing more on goal-setting and product deliverables, ScrumEdge allows you and your team to get to work faster. Once you try our intuitive user interface, you will see how fast and easy it is to take control of your project using ScrumEdge.
How ScrumEdge Works
Once you sign in, the ScrumEdge Setup Wizard will help you get up and running in just a few minutes.
1 - Build Your Scrum Team
Build your scrum team by adding users. Each team member will receive an email with their account information and a random password. A typical scrum team normally includes a Product Owner (stakeholder), a ScrumMaster and Scrum Team Members
2 - Create a Project
All you need for this step is a project name, it's status and ScrumMaster. Assign team members to your project and you are good to go in about fifteen seconds.
3 - Create Product Backlog
The project you created in will have its a Product Backlog. Enter a story name, its priority, status and how to demo steps and you're done. Add a few stories before you proceed to the next step. You can always add more stories later.
4 - Create a Sprint
Over the life of a typical project, there are many sprints. Your sprint may be as long as you want it to be, but we recommend that you keep all sprints down to 10 days (two weeks) so they are more manageable. Enter a sprint name, it's start and demo dates and you're done in less than 20 seconds
5 - Create & Assign Sprint Tasks
A sprint task (or task) is a unit of work generally between one and sixteen hours. We encourage splitting a task into several if the estimate exceeds twelve hours. A task is assigned to one member of the team at a time, but the entire team can collaborate on a task.
